Attention Seniors: The May Scholarship Bulletin is now LIVE! Please be sure to check out the bulletin on your class canvas page or the Student Services Website.

This is the last week to sign up for the 2019 Community Service Award and Engagement Night. Visit your class canvas announcements page for more information.   

Service hour log forms are available in the office and need to be turned in to Mrs. Underwood by today, Friday.

Rising Juniors and Seniors, there's still time to sign up for FREE RCC classes next year. The deadline has been extended to May 30th. Please make an "AHS Late Student Appointment" with Ms. West if interested.

Did you know that there are new, FREE opportunities through RCC?

Are you interested in training in HVAC, FIRE, EMT, Pharmacy Technician,Veterinary Assistant, and Agrimechanics, please make an appointment with Ms. West.

There are many students still owing fees for laptop repair charges and media fines. Fees/Fines must be paid in full prior to the end of the school year. Please see Mrs. Holland or Mrs. Luck in the media center.

Cheerleading tryouts will run next week- May 6-9 from 4:00 to 5:30 in the new gym. See Mrs. Carrouth or Ms. Blakely for a tryout packet.

Attention Blue Comets!!! Students will no longer be permitted to hang out under the breezeway next to the old gym either before school, during lunches, or after school.

Current Freshmen and Sophomores - Student LIFT (Leadership Information for Tomorrow) applications for the 2019-2020 school year are now available in Student Services.  LIFT is a program of the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce that provides students an opportunity to learn more about the area and gain valuable leadership skills.  For more information and to pick up an application, see Mrs. Smith in Student Services. Applications are due no later than next Friday, May 10th.

USATestprep may be used for attendance make-up. Follow the instructions posted in your CANVAS class page. Remember, the Make-up time course is NOT available during school hours, and you can make up to ten days for each subject area. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Gomez.

Club Information:

Seniors, this is a reminder that the Rotary Scholarships are due by today at 3:30 pm to Mr. Robbins in Student Services. The scholarship is in the amount of $1500.00 and is sponsored by the Asheboro Rotary Club.

GlamourGals: Plan to meet next Tuesday, May 7th immediately after school at Crossroads Retirement Center. Check out your GlamourGal course on Canvas for all the details.

Key Club members: There are several upcoming service opportunities for you to finish up those spring semester volunteer hours!    Also stop by to pick up an officer application for the 2019-2020 school year OR to sign up for the Balfour PTO Spring Carnival next, Friday, May 10.

The AIM Club will on Tuesday, May 7th in room 313 immediately after school.
