Multilingual Learners

Multilingual Learners (MLs)

All Multilingual Learners (MLs) receive language support through services from ML teachers at their schools. Both ML and content teachers use the WIDA English Language Development standards to plan and deliver instruction. Each year, ML students receive the WIDA ACCESS Test to measure progress in the domains of speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

The ML program receives local, state, and federal funding to support program initiatives, which align with federal and state requirements.
