Preparing to Return to School

Our staff is thrilled to be able to welcome students back into our building beginning on October 5! Our students, families, and staff have been working so hard during this time of remote instruction, but we are excited to have students back on campus.

As a reminder, Group A students will attend in person on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning October 5th, and Group B students will attend in person on Thursdays and Fridays beginning October 8th. All students will work remotely on Wednesdays.

Remote Learning Packet Distribution

Please plan to pick up your child's next remote learning packet on Monday, May 4 at Donna Lee Loflin. The packets will be available outside the main doors and be labeled by grade level and child's name. Fourth and fifth graders only need to pick up a packet if they do not have internet access to utilize Google Classroom. Please remember to practice social distancing when picking up the learning packets. We miss each and every one of our students and look forward to the time that we can all be back in the building together! More +

First Packet Distribution

Thank you to everyone who was able to come and pick up their learning packets yesterday! Thanks to your efforts, we are happy to say that we have already distributed the information to 90% of our students. While we are saddened that we will not be able to see your smiling faces in the upcoming weeks, we are very much looking forward to connecting with you all remotely!

Kindergarten Registration

ACS is excited to enroll kindergarteners for the 2021-2022 school year! If you are the parent or guardian of a rising kindergarten student, please make an appointment to enroll your child at your assigned school anytime during the month of March. Please be sure to bring your child's certified birth certificate, proof of address (lease agreement or power bill), and a valid photo ID for the enrolling parent.

If you are unsure of which school your child is assigned, please contact the Central Office and ask to speak with Tena Lester. The number to the Central Office is (336) 625-5104.
Box Tops 4 Education

Loflin Elementary is collecting Box Tops for Education. Clipping the $0.10 coupons quickly adds up to hundreds of dollars for our school.  Our goal is to earn $1,000 this year. Visit the Box Tops homepage to learn which products carry the Box Tops labels and to print out valuable coupons.
