We encourage you to find specific information about our 2019 Loflin Summer Reading Challenge here, and join us at the Asheboro Public Library on July 31st at 3:00 to check in with Loflin Staff, and participate in the Aliens Invade Found Art Project. 
Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School is proud to offer Asheboro City Schools expanded after school program, titled the Academic and Social Achiement Program. This after school program will operate on student days only from 2:35-6:00 p.m. Below you will find an application and the program's policies and procedures. Please call the Donna Lee Loflin main office during regular business hours to learn more.

Caiden Ellis Wins ACS Future Chef Competition

Loflin's own Caiden Ellis (4th Grade) took first place in the Second Annual Future Chef Competition on Tuesday, March 19. The competition was held at Balfour Elementary School. Caiden's winning dish was stuffed sweet potatoes. Congratulations to Caiden!

DLL Spelling Bee

2019 DLL Spelling Bee Winners
DLL held their schoolwide Spelling Bee this afternoon. Classroom winners and runners-up from the third through fifth grade classes competed in the competition. Chloe Chanmaly finished in first place, and Henry Martinez-Cruz was the runner-up. Both students are in fifth grade. Chloe will compete in the ACS District Spelling Bee on February 19th at 7 pm.

Box Tops 4 Education

Loflin Elementary is collecting Box Tops for Education. Clipping the $0.10 coupons quickly adds up to hundreds of dollars for our school.  Our goal is to earn $1,000 this year. Visit the Box Tops homepage to learn which products carry the Box Tops labels and to print out valuable coupons.
