Asheboro City Schools Announces Ribbon Cutting and Open House for Asheboro High School
Asheboro City Schools leadership plans to celebrate the completion of the renovation project at Asheboro High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony along with local dignitaries, media, and special guests on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 beginning at 1:30 pm. In addition, the public is invited to an Open House with tours of the building on Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 2-5 pm.

McCrary Elementary closed for students on Jan 26th
There will be no school for McCrary Elementary students tomorrow, Thursday, January 26th due to emergency utility repairs affecting water and heat in the building. This closing does not affect any other school campus in Asheboro City Schools.

School board members play a vital role and they go above and beyond to volunteer their time in support of the district, our schools, and the needs of our entire community.
