Red Ribbon Week


Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign where students learn about the dangers of drugs, will be October 23rd-October 31st. At Balfour, we will have activities beginning on October 28th. You can expect dress-up days, age appropriate lessons from our school counselor, and guest speakers for our upper grades students.   Here are the Spirit Days, decided upon by student leaders in 4th and 5th grades who are participating in our SAVE Club:
 
Monday, 10/28: We are “RED-y” to Say No to Drugs - Wear red!
Tuesday, 10/29:  Hats on for Healthy Choices -- Wear your favorite hat!
Wednesday: 10/30: Razzle Dazzle for a Drug Free Life-- Wear dress up clothes!
Thursday: 10/31: Don’t Be Tricked; Drugs are NO Treat-- Wear costumes!
Friday: 11/1: Dreaming of a Drug Free World--Wear Pajamas!
