Math

  • Orally counting to 100

  • Writing numbers 0-20

  • Counting by 10’s

  • Telling time to the hour

  • Recognizing coins and their value (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters)

  • Recognizing two dimensional shapes (squares, rectangles, circles, triangles,hexagon, trapezoid, rhombus)

  • Recognizing three dimensional shapes (sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, rectangular prism)

  • Addition and subtraction math facts to 10

  • Counting on from a given number (ex.: Start at 35 and count to 41.)

Reading

Students should be fluent with:

  1. Letter names

  2. Letter sounds

  3. Short vowel sounds
