Dear Teachey Tiger Community,
It is my honor to continue as the proud principal of Teachey Elementary School! My time at Teachey has been filled with learning, growth, and countless moments that remind me just how special the Teachey community truly is. I am grateful to be a part of a school family that is so dedicated to our students’ success.
A little about me: I grew up in the Southern Greensboro area, not far from Teachey. I attended Appalachian State University, where I earned all of my degrees and certifications, including Elementary Education K-6, a Master of Reading Education, an Autism Spectrum Disorder Certification, and a School Leadership Certification. My professional journey has included serving as a 4th and 5th grade teacher, an instructional facilitator, and an assistant principal for three years before joining the Teachey team as principal.
My wife, Samantha, and I have been married for over 10 years, and our family keeps us busy and joyful. Our oldest son is a proud Teachey Tiger, and we have two future Tigers at home who will be joining us in the years ahead. It is a true privilege to lead a school that my own children are a part of, and I value the responsibility of ensuring Teachey continues to be a place where all children thrive.
As we look ahead, I am excited to continue building on the strong foundation of excellence at Teachey. I believe in the power of collaboration, high expectations, and strong relationships between home and school. Together, we will make this another outstanding year filled with growth, achievement, and Tiger pride.
