School Resource Officers

ACS School Resource Officers (SROs)

Asheboro City Schools is fortunate to have four professional School Resource Officer's (SRO's). Our resource officers serve both our elementary and secondary schools. To reach one of our SRO's please call the main office at your student’s school or through the police department at 336-626-1300.

 
A School Resource Officer (SRO) is defined as the following:

A certified law enforcement officer who is permanently assigned to provide coverage to a school or a set of schools. The SRO is specifically trained to perform three roles: law enforcement officer, law-related counselor and law-related education teacher.
