Community Use of Facilities

Facility Use

The Asheboro City Board of Education sanctions the use of school facilities, provided the use does not interfere with regular school functions and operations. The use of school facilities is open to community agencies, institutions and organizations for civic, recreational, cultural and educational purposes. Please read Board Policy 5030: Community Use of Facilities before requesting use of ACS facilities.

Application to rent a designated area or school should be made by the official representative of the organization and turned into the principal of the school site. Once approved by the principal, the application will be submitted to the district's Director of Facilities and Maintenance Office, at 1126 South Park Street.

Also, the use of Asheboro High School's Professional Development Center and Performing Arts Center is currently not available due to construction taking place at the school.
