About Us

Welcome to Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School!

Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School is Asheboro City Schools’ oldest elementary school, formerly known as Park Street School, but we are not confined to our past. Loflin boasts modern technology with SmartBoards in every classroom, laptop computer carts for fourth and fifth grade classrooms, a computer lab, a media center with both print and digital resources, and a great faculty of ambitious teachers ready to give their students the best elementary school experience.

In order to meet the needs of 21st century learning trends, our Elementary School is re-invigorating our A+ program, integrating arts into all areas of our school and curriculum. We are excited about the opportunities available to our students to learn and show what they know through the arts.

School Hours

Doors open to students at 7:25, with instruction beginning at 7:45 when the tardy bell rings. The afternoon dismissal bell rings at 2:35.
