Mrs. Kathy Malpass is the media coordinator for Lindley Park's Media Center.

Lindley Park Elementary School’s Media Center Mission:  Lindley Park Elementary School’s media center strives to help achieve the mission of the school by providing information literacy instruction to students and curriculum support to teachers, high-quality resources to students, and sound management practices to implement the programs of the media center.

2017-2018 Battle of the Books, Jr.

Students in fourth or fifth grade are eligible to join the Battle of the Book team. The BOB team will compete against other Asheboro City elementary schools in a team competition answering questions about 12 different books.

What you need to know:

      -Only 12 students may compete.
      -Each student is required to read a minimum of 9 books.
      -For each book the student is required to create 15 questions in a specific format.
      -An AR test must be completed for each book.
      -The student must be able to work in a team.
      -The student must be able to attend after school practices beginning in February.
