The Asheboro City Schools' Early Childhood Development Center is a five-star, nationally-accredited licensed childcare facility. We offer two preschool demonstration classes for the Office of Early Learning at the Department of Public Instruction. Our facility houses eight preschool classrooms, serving children from NC Pre-K, Smart Start, and Exceptional Children programs.
Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., you must enter the school through the front entrance. All other doors are locked during these hours. If your child will turn 3 or 4 by August 31, he or she may qualify to attend the Pre-K program! Please fill out an application and return it with the required information to the Randolph County Partnership for Children or the Early Childhood Development Center.

El Centro de Desarrollo Niñez Temprano es parte de Escuelas de la Ciudad Asheboro. Nuestro centro es totalmente incluyente y sirve los niños de tres y cuatro años de edad. ECDC es un centro de 5 estrellas y acreditado por la Asociación Nacional para la Educación de Niños Pequeños (NAEYC). Las clases de Educación para adultos están disponibles para los padres de niños en edad preescolar en sitio en el ECDC. Un salón de preescolar de cinco estrellas se encuentra también en la Escuela Primaria Teachey.
