North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten Classes are established at the Early Childhood Development Center to provide developmentally appropriate experiences for three and four year old children. The focus of activities is to promote the development of important concepts that the children will need to be successful in school. This program is for children who live inside the Asheboro City School District and who will be 3 or 4 years old by August 31 of each school year.

Funding for this program is provided by the Randolph County Partnership for Children, the Smart Start affiliate for Randolph County.
