What time does school start?
The first bell rings at 7:25. This allows the student 20 minutes to unpack their book bag and prepare for their instructional day. The student should be in their classroom ready to learn at 7:45 a.m. After 7:45 a.m. the student is considered tardy and will miss out on valuable instructional time.

 
Is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 7:25 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. Students eating breakfast are expected to be done eating by 7:45 a.m.

 
What time does school get out?
School releases at 2:35 p.m. Bus and day care riders exit through the Glenwood Road covered driveway. Third, fourth and fifth grade car riders exit through the Glenwood Road doors near the staff parking lot. Kindergarten, first and second grade car riders exit through the Redding Road circle drive.

 
My child will be going home in a way different than normal. How do I let the teacher know?
If your child is taking an alternative way home please send a note to the teacher that morning notifying them of the change. If you do not know of the change in the morning please call the office at 625-6226 before 1:30 p.m. and notify the school secretary of the change and she will notify the student and the classroom teacher.

 
What time does my child eat lunch?
Check the section of the webpage called “Daily Schedules” to view the lunch schedule. Please note the lunch schedule may change for special events.

 
May I check my child out of school early?
If you come to the school to check your child out of school early, you will need to come to the office and sign the checkout sheet and show your photo ID to the school secretary. Please keep these checkouts to emergencies and medical appointments so that your child will not miss out on valuable instructional time. Your child is not counted absent if they leave after 11:10 a.m.
