Each year, schools in the Asheboro City district complete a Continuous Improvement Plan to guide their work for that academic year. Annual Continuous Improvement Plans identify specific strategies to accomplish goals in improving student achievement. Asheboro City Schools uses the Continuous Improvement Planning process as a comprehensive tool to address the needs of all students. A Continuous Improvement Plan also communicates to educators, students and their families, business leaders and community members, the process of achieving and measuring improvements both as a district and at the school level. These plans are developed and monitored by the school or district leadership teams and presented annually in the fall to the Board of Education for approval.
