Mens Soccer
The AHS Varsity Soccer Team beat Northwood High School last Monday night with a final score of 7- 1. Then on Thursday, the team beat Randleman High School with a final score of 4-0.
Ladies Volleyball
The AHS Varsity Volleyball Team beat Central Chatham High School last Monday with superior performances by Piper Davidson, Payton Knott, Kyler Perdue, and Kaylen Nance. Way to go ladies! The JV Team won against Union Pines High School last outstanding plays by Itzel Macias, Natasha Merderos, Abigail Becker, Elliza Duranceau, and Carly Cagle.
Cross Country
Congratulations to Rose Kidd for placing third and Carlisle Dozier for placing 14th out of 35 female runners at Wheatmore High School last Tuesday. Congratulations to Seth Hydzik for placing fifth, Brandon Aguilar for 13th, and Hunter Wilson for 14th out of 48 male runners. In the race against SWRHS on Wednesday, both Blue Comet Cross Country teams won with Seth Hydzik winning the boys race with a time of 19:20 and Sophia Roman winning the girls race with a time of 22:16.
