The Board of Education shared the following topics and discussed at length what can be done to help address these concerns:

1. Recruitment and retainment of Top Talent;

2. Adequate and Equitable Resources for Schools and Students;

3. Increasing the Weighting of Student Growth from 20 to 50 percent;

4. North Carolina Pre-K Program;

5. Calendar Flexibility;

6. And Standardized Accountability for all Publicly-Funded Schools.
