Congratulations to our December Innovator of the Month, Mrs. Ilona Green of Donna Lee Loflin Elementary! Mrs. Green's #InnovateACS entry was of a special lesson plan she did for her students. Mrs. Green turned her classroom into "Loflin General" where the students became “distributive doctors” and operated on several patients aka math problems! To set the scene Mrs. Green had decorations, props, and even costumes for her students to look the part of "distributive doctors". This was the wrap up of their learning about the distributive property. Thank you Mrs. Green for your creative and innovative spirit!
