On Thursday, March 21st Asheboro City Schools held our Sodexo Future Chef Competition for our district finalists! Students had to submit their healthy homemade recipes at the school level where they were then selected to compete at the district level. Finalists were given ingredients, a kitchen, and an assistant to prepare their original dishes. The following students participated and created the following dishes:

Maria Cadena from Balfour - Mexican Style Chicken Salad
Jahzyir Thatch from Teachey - Cheesy Tuna Wrap
Elizabeth Favasuli from McCrary - Cheesy Scrambled Eggs
Lilliane Klingenberg from Loflin - Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli
