Congratulations to our Balfour Spelling Bee Winners! On January 18th two student representatives from each third, fourth and fifth grade classrooms competed in our school's spelling bee.   It was a tough competition!  The winner of the Spelling Bee is Fifth Grader Kareem Hassan! Kareem will represent Balfour at the District Spelling Bee.   The runner up of the Spelling Bee is Grayson Thompson.  Congratulations to you both!   Also, congratulations to all those that participated. Thank you to Mrs. King, our AIG Teacher, for putting this Spelling Bee together.  Thank you to the Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Garner for being judges and Mrs. McClosky for calling the words!
