The Asheboro City Board of Education is pleased to announce that the deadline to submit applications to serve as the school district’s next superintendent has passed. The board received 29 applications from 11 different states. The applications will be processed by the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) and released to the board in early May. The board looks forward to reviewing the applications and moving into the interview stage of the superintendent search process.
