The community came together on Friday, December 20th, to help William Sidebottom fulfill a wish. William is a fourth grader here at Balfour has a heart condition and his wish was to have Christmas Cards sent to him. The community and surrounding communities have come together to give as many cards as they can to him. It has truly touched our hearts. As a result his wish William also is a fan of eccentric cars. The community was able to put on a car show for William and the children of Balfour. William's smile lit up Balfour as the parade of cars came to school. He was also excorted by the Sheriff's Department and SWAT Team. The Fourth Graders were able to take a closer look at the cars and spend this special time with William. Balfour is very thankful to the surrounding communities and the organizations that helped put this altogether. This was truly a special day for all the students!
