The first graduating class of the Russell E. Murphy, Sr. ACT/SAT Prep Program celebrated together on Saturday December 14 at the George Washington Carver Community Enrichment Center.  These students spent their Saturday mornings this Fall learning how to prepare for the SAT and ACT.  This program is sponsored by Asheboro City Schools, as well as the Asheboro Eastside Improvement Association and the Russell E. Murphy, Sr. Footballl Camp.  Students were presented with certificates of achievement and awards for their attendance and improvement in pre- and post-test results.  Look for upcoming information on the next course to be offered!  This program was coordinated by Vanessa Brooks and Willie Gladden.
