Every student deserves to be taught by an accomplished teacher. National Board Certification was designed to develop,
retain and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide. It’s the
highest certification a teacher may obtain in addition to being the most respected one. Chandra Manning presented each with a bouquet of flowers to recognize and congratulate to these three leaders who continually strive to improve their instruction.

Mayor David Smith of Asheboro presented our Men's soccer team with the Asheboro Pride Award.  Our men's soccer team was a point of pride for achieving a great feat this year.  The men where one game from making it to the state soccer finals.  This is the furthest our team has risen.
