Robots Donated from the Toyota Battery Manufacturing of North Carolina

We extend heartfelt thanks to Toyota Battery Manufacturing of North Carolina for their generous donation of nine robotic kits. These kits will empower secondary students in our Innovation Center to explore and develop essential skills for the future. Industry support, like that of Toyota Battery Manufacturing of NC, makes a lasting impact on education and innovation!

Presenting on behalf of Toyota Battery Manufacturing of NC are Jerry Ivey, Technical Workforce Development Leader; John McBride, Manager for the Center of Excellence; and Joseline Hernandez, a first year NC FAME apprentice and AHS alumnae. Accepting on behalf of Asheboro City Schools was Dr. Aaron Woody, Superintendent; Sarah Beth Cox, CTE Director; Courtney McGowan, CTE Support, and Julie Brady, Innovation Center Lead Teacher.
