Let's Hear from You!

The Asheboro City Board of Education is considering revisions to the 2020-2021 school calendar. They are also considering two proposed calendars for the 2021-2022 school year. These calendars will be under review for the next 30 days. The Board will take action on these items at their March 12 meeting. Between now and then, we ask you to review the calendars and submit your feedback to feedback@asheboro.k12.nc.us

Annual Report

Guided by our strategic plan, we annually share with our stakeholders successes and highlights of the previous school year. The following reports the hard work of our students and staff throughout the year to meet or exceed strategic goals. While much progress has been made, there is still much work to be done. Our greatest challenges continue to be increasing reading and math proficiency for all students, closing the achievement gap, compliance with federal No Child Left Behind legislation and decreasing the dropout rate.

The Asheboro City Schools educational family values our community and believes all children can be successful. Please take a few minutes to review our progress over the past several years, celebrate our successes and continue to support efforts to help all students graduate from high school prepared for college, work, and citizenship.
