The Balfour Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m. in the Media Center!
PTO is about strengthening the partnership between our homes and the educational system. Our top priority is making sure parents are involved in their child’s education. Parents, teachers, and community members can all be part of the PTO.
PTO Goals for the 2018-2019 Year:
1. Growing our PTO to include all parents. The more parents involved, the stronger our community is for our kids, the more our voices are heard, and the more opportunities we can provide for meaningful parent involvement.
2. Partner with our school and their plans. Our school has some great goals they are working toward. We want to support them as they work towards Reading goals, Project-based learning, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) goals.
3. Facilitate a positive and welcoming school environment.
