The community is invited to the
Asheboro City Schools District Spelling Bee on Tuesday, February 19 at 7 p.m.
at the South Asheboro Middle School media center.
“Since the beginning of 2019, schools
across the district have hosted school-level spelling bees. The winners of
those ‘bees’ advance to the district level spelling bee,” said Director of
Elementary Education Mr. Jordi Roman. The winner of the district spelling bee
will then have an opportunity to compete in the regional level against seven
other districts in the Piedmont-Triad.
