Education Foundation 

Established in 1991 by Superintendent Bob W. Gordon, it was the vision of the Foundation to help ensure that all Asheboro City Schools students achieve the education they need to succeed in an increasingly complex and global society. The Foundation awarded their first scholarships in May of 1993 for a total of $2,200. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $75,000 in scholarships to Asheboro High School graduates.

Mission Statement:

To provide continuing support of Asheboro City Schools and its educational programs and provide philanthropic opportunities allowing donors to make gifts which will improve the quality of education for students in the Asheboro City Schools.
