College Tours for the Blue Comet Academy
The freshman in the Blue Comet Academy had the unique opportunity to visit a college or university campus this fall. The students had the opportunity to visit one of the following colleges with their Comet Connection Class:
NC State Universtiy
Wake Forest University
Winston Salem State University
Greensboro College
High Point University
University of North Carolina at Greensboro
North Carolina A&T State University
Guilford College
Each Comet Connections class was responsible for creating a Power Point or video/movie of the college they visited for other students to view. The students really enjoyed the opportunity to visit the colleges and further understood the importance preparing for postsecondary education.
