Web option available for City schools strategic plan input

Over 140 stakeholders have provided input into the development of Asheboro City Schools 2010-2013 Strategic Plan by attending one of eight community “Coffee and Conversation” sessions. Anyone unable to attend a session, and would like to offer input into the district plan may do so via the web through March 12th.
 
Interested community members are encouraged to go to Asheboro City Schools website, www.asheboro.k12.nc.us, click on About ACS, select Strategic Plan and click on 2010-2013 Strategic Plan.  On this page participants may review a presentation presented at the sessions highlighting district progress on the current strategic plan. Participants will also be asked to respond to the following question: What do you believe are the top 3 to 5 key strategic issues Asheboro City Schools should address during this planning cycle?
 
Responses should be emailed to cfreemyer@asheboro.k12.nc.us by March 12th to be included with all of the ideas generated during this first phase of plan development.
 
All feedback received through the Coffee and Conversation sessions and the web will be shared with the Planning Team as they work to identify and prioritize potential goal areas.
