Unified Dress Parent Meeting March 17, AHS, 7:15pm

Parents of rising 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are encouraged to attend a special meeting Tuesday, March 17th at 7:15pm in the AHS Performing Arts Center (1221 South Park Street) regarding the possible implementation of a middle school Unified Dress Code for the 2009-10 school year.

Unified Dress guidelines developed by a stakeholder committee will be presented, along with examples of what the dress code could look like if implemented.

The following week, all parents of rising 6th, 7th and 8th students will be given the opportunity to “vote” on the proposed unified dress code. Based on the outcome of this vote, a recommendation will be presented to the Asheboro City Board of Education at their regular meeting on April 9th at 7:30pm.
