Local Systems Host Post-School Services Provider Fair
Asheboro City Schools and Randolph County Schools Exceptional Education Services will be hosting a “Post-School Services Provider Fair” on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 between 4:00-7:00 pm at the Asheboro City Schools Professional Development Center. The Professional Development Center is located on the Asheboro High School campus at the corner of Walker Avenue and Church Street.
This event is designed primarily to be of service to families or students with disabilities, particularly at the middle and high school grade level.
Organizations and agencies both locally and from around the state will be available at assigned tables to assist and inform parents, students, educators and administrators about opportunities during and after high school.
Service agencies include the Autism Society of North Carolina, High Point University Disability Services, JobLink, Legal Aid of North Carolina, Mayor’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities, NC Assistive Technology Project, Partnership for Health Management, Randolph Community College Disability Services, Randolph County Clerk of Court, Randolph Vocational Workshop, Randolph County Clerk of Court, Sandhills Center for Mental Health, Social Security Administration, UNC-G Disability Services, and Vocational Rehabilitation.
