CenturyLink sponsors superintendent award
Asheboro City Schools and CenturyLink are pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s CenturyLink Superintendent’s Award, honoring high school seniors for maintaining an unweighted grade point average of 4.0 their entire high school career.
“We are pleased to have a terrific community partner in CenturyLink that values outstanding academic achievement,” said Dr. Diane Frost, superintendent.
Four seniors received the ninth annual CenturyLink Superintendent’s Award during the June 1st scholarship awards night: Amanda Gibson, Megan Jarrell, Currey Nobles and Hahn Tang.
“I am particularly honored to have this award named the CenturyLink Superintendent’s Award. CenturyLink is a strong supporter of education in our community and this is a fitting tribute to these outstanding seniors.”
Carson Robinson, CenturyLink District Operations Manager for western North Carolina and Charles Watson, Asheboro Area Manager were on hand to present the award along with Dr. Frost. These exemplary students were presented with a specially designed crystal award to honor his superior high school achievement.
